In 2005, an electrical fire destroyed the Biblical Arts Center and much of its artwork. Since that time, the Museum has been re-built and expanded to become The Museum of Biblical Art, Dallas. The Museum's new building features beautiful event spaces, impressive architecture, and eleven galleries for art and exhibitions.
In the years since the Museum's re-opening, the MBA's mission to provide a place of peace in the city through the display Biblically-themed art has led to numerous educational programs for youth and adults as well as countless art exhibitions by artists from diverse spiritual and secular backgrounds.
Types of art exhibited include bronze sculpture installations, drawings, fine prints and lithographs, tapestry, and oil paintings.
