Sheppard’s Business Interiors is locally owned and has been in business for nearly 60 years. SBI opened for business in 1955 in downtown Omaha with eight employees. Our company grew and incorporated in 1970. As Omaha developed west and SBI continued to grow, we moved to a larger facility located at 42nd & Dodge Streets in 1977. In 1985, at a time when SBI employed 45 people, we relocated to our current location at 725 South 72nd Street to accommodate the continued growth of the business and to recognize the further westward development of commercial business in Omaha. Currently SBI has approximately 65 employees.
