Thank you to The Home Depot for the much needed improvements at VFW Riverview Post 8108.
Dozens of volunteers from Home Depot stores in the region converged on the Riverview VFW building on Friday morning. Their mission? A four-hour major rehab of the aging facility. In addition to the volunteer labor, Home Depot provided a $24,500 grant to remake the home of the veteran’s organization.

Every story not told is lost forever. Cheers to 92-year-old VFW Life member Johnny Wearing from Detroit for sharing his.
