Hunt founded Hunt Tree Company in Lake City, MI in 1980. grew up in the Christmas Tree business working for different tree growers including his mentor and uncle Bill Roberts, for summer employment during his high school years. After graduated from Ferris State University, he transitioned to retail Christmas tree sales. After a successful 1980 Christmas season, Hunt Tree Company was officially born. Today, has grown the farm to over 500 acres. Annually, harvests several thousands of trees. The retail sector of Hunt Tree Company is still the core of the business, making for a very busy Christmas season! Hunt Tree Company services wholesale trees all across the and also to Puerto Rico!
