Victory Community Church-Arizona (VCC-AZ) began with a vision and command from God "to bring water to the desert". Drs. Charles & Renea Johnson were sent forth from Germany to the valley with this mandate. On September 2, 2008 the first service was held at Kiwanis Park Recreation Center in Tempe, Arizona. The membership grew quickly due to the powerful, yet practical, life-changing messages that transformed the heart of the people. The increase in membership required transition; in October 2008 VCC moved to the Fiesta Resort where the Lord moved and caused lines to fall in pleasant places. In addition to a location for the Sunday and Tuesday worship services, the Fiesta Resort proved a room for the children's church. In the 2009, the Lord continued to bless as membership continued to grow as the Word of God impacted the lives of the people. In March 2009, the Women of Wisdom ministry was birthed and in that same month Victory Community Church held its first Resurrection Service with over 120 people in attendance. Over the next few months VCC continued to see the manifested blessings of the Lord and on July 15, 2009 we celebrated our inaugural service in our new location on South 40th Street in Phoenix. Victory Community Church continues to experience the anointing, abundance, and awesomeness of the Lord!
