Genesis Christian Church of the Nazarene is located at 19150 Helena Avenue, right in the heart of Port Charlotte. It was built on the corner of our serene ten acre site in 1981. The Church of the Nazarene denomination was begun at Pilot Point Texas in 1908. Our distinctive encouragement o the Body of Christ is to emphasize holiness of heart and life, exemplified in the statement of the denomination: "Holiness unto the Lord." Our Church beleves in Jesus' words to "Go and make disciples of all nations" )Matt. 28:19). We are therefore missionary minded . The Church of the Nazarene supports hundreds of missionaries and national leaders around the world.
Genesis Christian School is a ministry of Genesis Christian Church. GCS is dedicated to providing the highest quality Christian education possible. The school offers classes from K3 - 7th grade. We have small and intimate class sizes where your studnts will receive individual attention and loving guidance from our staff of professional eachers. GCS is a member school of the Association of Christian Schools International.
