As the premier martial arts school in southeast Michigan, we are proud to be a member of the Zen Bei Butoku Kai, one of the largest and oldest martial arts organizations in the country. Our style, Shorin-ji Ryu, is a traditional Japanese style of karate. While this is our primary focus, we also blend in curriculum from other styles of martial arts, such as aikido, jujitsu and arnis. Our instructors hold black belts in multiple martial arts. Sensei John Wasilina has been a practitioner of the martial arts for 25 years, and as a 6th degree black belt, is the highest ranking member of our organization in the state.
