Please join our efforts in Southwest VA to positively combat the substance abuse epidemic that has so negatively impacted our region. A united voice can make a difference. Prevention has significantly reduced the “litter” and “smoking” problem in our county and together we can definitely change the drug culture in our area as well!

The coalition was awarded a grant to implement a regional information dissemination campaign to develop and distribute prevention messages that can be used to help combat the escalating numbers of people abusing drugs and/or alcohol. The slogan, ”Our Community Our Responsibility”, can now be seen on billboards across the region.

Current projects include suicide prevention assessment and planning and strategies revolving aroung the prevention of Underage substance use. Join our efforts to promote the coalition slogan "We Don't Support Underage Use" used in merchant education and other dissemination activities.
