Rae Jeanne and Richard L. Rogy founded Rogy’s Learning Place in 1972. Their first center had 25 children and the average cost for care was $ a week. How things change!!!!! Soon after their first center opened, their daughters, Wendy Pettett and Dawn Meyer, became involved in the center as child care teachers and later became Center Directors. Today, Dawn and Wendy are Directors of Operations/Owners. In 1992 our father passed away, "what a great man and father," and his son Richard W. came into the business as Director of Administration/Owner. We, Jeanne, Wendy, Dawn, and Rick are all actively involved in the business and truly love what we do. Today, we have 20 centers with nearly 2900 children enrolled.
