Southern Bracing Systems was founded in 1985 by industry-veteran Wayne Vick. The company was built on years of experience in the transportation industry from rail yards to ship yards, roadways and skyways. He envisioned a company that would transform cargo securement into an industry based on science that would save billions of dollars in freight loss and damage. That's why all of Southern Bracing System's products are tested and approved by the Association of American Railroads (AAR).
When there wasn't a product available to meet a need Southern Bracing Systems created manufacturing divisions. Our Honeycomb Products and Southern Strapping Systems divisions manufacture top-line void fillers and high quality polyester strapping.
