We believe that poverty is unacceptable to the community and that all people are valued regardless of race or socio-economic status.
The Community Action Partnership of Mercer County (CAPMC) was incorporated as a private non-profit corporation, tax exempt under Section 501(C)(3) in May of 1966. The corporation is non-sectarian, apolitical and operates independently of any federal, state or local government. CAPMC is one of 1200 Community Action Agencies nationwide and one of 43 which cover all 67 counties in Pennsylvania.
