Point O’ Woods, a Robert Trent Jones Sr. masterpiece, is known for its walkability. The park-like atmosphere with rolling terrain weaving past challenging greens, strategic hazards and the stands of venerable trees (some 6600 in all), was all part of the plan 60 years ago when Jones laid out the course which he later described as “perhaps my best American course.” Recreational and clubhouse amenities include an 18 hole golf course, swimming & diving pool, tennis courts, a snack bar and restaurant. All this, along with a stylish new clubhouse overlooking the 18th green, makes for a family-friendly venue.
