After graduating from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1989, I began my practice in Mobile, Alabama with Sintz, Campbell, Duke, Taylor and Cunningham. While a young associate with that firm, I met my friend and mentor, Mr. Thomas R. McAlpine, Esq. I subsequently became a shareholder in the law firm of Whitfield & McAlpine, in Mobile where I practiced for a number of years. Tom is one of the most skilled and respected lawyers in this state and I am privileged to have had the opportunity to work closely with him during my early years of practice. I learned much from Tom and we we remain involved as co-counsel in various legal matters.
I returned to Tuscaloosa in late 2004 where I established Mark Sterling Gober, LLC. We have been overwhelmed by the reception that we have received in this very special city by both the Bench and by my colleagues, the local Bar.
