Mr. Attie's intermediate art class explored the importance of an artist making work that is about and in response to the times they live in. Students had to make a collage with moveable pieces using imagery from the recent hurricanes that affected parts of the U.S. Then, they turned that collage into a short film with a particular focus on meaning, pacing, and sound.

This week, Ms. Robertson’s Biology students performed a controlled experiment to test the effectiveness of antibacterial hand soap compared with regular hand soap and Purell.

On Saturday, September 16, Archer Dance Troupe and Dance Company members had the opportunity to participate in two master classes, one with Karli Dinardo and Jacob Guzman, cast members of the award-winning musical, Hamilton, and another with Theresa Farrell, the Executive Director of and dancer at the American Contemporary Ballet. Cybele Z. '18 took photos to capture this unique experience.

Today, the Upper School introduced Teacher TED Talks, a new series in which faculty and staff members have an opportunity to present to students about interesting topics that go beyond the classroom. Ms. Smith gave the first talk and shared about her journey to set the world record for a soccer game played at the highest altitude on Mt. Kilimanjaro.
