In 1986, Mount Grace was founded by a group of local residents who convened themselves to discuss ways to address the rapid, unorganized development threatening the forests and fields of the local landscape. Since then, Mount Grace has protected more than 26,000 acres in our 23-town region.
Towns served: Ashburnham, Athol, Barre, Bernardston, Erving, Gardner, Gill, Greenfield, Hardwick, Hubbardston, Leyden, Montague, New Salem, Northfield, Orange, Petersham, Phillipston, Royalston, Templeton, Warwick, Wendell, Westminster and Winchendon.
