We began selling wood burning stoves at the height of the energy crisis in 1977 from a small storefront nestled among the antique stores of Valley Junction in West Des Moines, Iowa. From these modest beginnings the Woodburning Stove Shop grew into the Fireplace Superstore that today fills 12,000 square feet of showroom with over 60 fully functional burning displays.
