Each year, Healy-Murphy Center serves approximately 400 youth ages 14-21 who need more than the regular school environment can provide. Approximately 90% of the students and children we serve meet the federal poverty guidelines. Approximately 50% of students are pregnant and/or parenting teens. Our on-site child development center also serves approximately 200 children 4 weeks to 5 years of age. These children belong to teen parents and/or local low-income families who need quality childcare in order for their parents to work and finish high school to support them longterm.
