In March of 2007 a group of creative professionals got together to discuss ways in which we could apply our diverse skills to enhance the Arts scene in Downtown Winston Salem. Realizing that our individual backgrounds could in fact be used to achieve this lofty goal in an unique manner, we established The AFAS Group (Art for Art's Sake) Our mission: Build, Educate and Celebrate Community through ART.
Today, we have over 400 artists and growing strong.
