This #NationalVolunteerWeek, we thank #RedCross volunteers at home & around the world for their tireless dedication†…

We are so grateful for the many Red Cross volunteers at home and around the world that carry out our mission each and every day. This National Volunteer Week, we celebrate their dedication and compassion! Thank you.

The Red Cross was a family for Katy while her husband Nick was deployed with the military, and provided her with opportunities to give back to the local community. She and Nick are both comforted in knowing that the Red Cross is there to support their family throughout Nick's deployment. Katy has been volunteering for the Red Cross in Tennessee, and her passion for the Red Cross even led her to accept a staff position!

Between Katy's volunteer service and Nick's #military service, the #RedCross has impacted their family in more ways†…

Two yrs since #NepalEQ, #RedCross volunteers still go door-to-door, reminding parents to get their kids vaccinated†…

Red Cross volunteer, Binita, is among many volunteers in Nepal helping residents and their children obtain critical vaccinations to protect against diseases such as measles, tuberculosis, diphtheria, and polio. Two years since a devastating earthquake struck the nation, vaccinations are among several projects volunteers like Binita are helping with to aid the ongoing recovery efforts.

A big thank you to all who participated in #help1family! Your support allows us to continue our mission.

West Coasters: 3 hours left to join us on Giving Day!

As you begin to wrap up a long day, remember that for a family displaced by a disaster, a warm blanket can mean the world. Four-year-old Jecek and seven-year-old Charsidy cozied up while staying at a Red Cross shelter in Rochester, New York. At the time, thousands were without power because of windstorms that hit the area. You can help kids and their families get a good night’s sleep – just $30 can provide six blankets.
