M2S, Inc., founded in 1997, is a privately owned company that specializes in medical image and data management services for clinical data registries, advanced radiographic image analysis, and clinical trial image management.
History: In the 1990’s M2S developed advanced 3D computer models for the aortic vascular market. These 3D models, combined with sophisticated measurement tools became invaluable for pre-operative vascular surgery planning and established M2S as a respected leader in endovascular image management. Over the next five years, M2S expanded to include a web-based patient evaluation and management registry. Today, M2S has processed more than 170 million images.
As the value of 3D imaging grew within the medical device industry, M2S’s service quickly became integral in many manufacturers’ clinical trials, and the company expanded into services for the aortic disease medical device clinical trial market.
Continuing to advance the tools offered for improving patient outcomes, M2S launched a cloud-based quality improvement database in 2009. This database is used for data entry and real-time report generation for the Society for Vascular Surgery® (SVS) Vascular Quality Initiative (VQI). Through the M2S database, VQI participants benchmark outcomes at the local, regional, and national level to initiate quality improvement projects to improve practice processes and reduce costs.
M2S operates under the highest standards of ISO 13485:2003 and 14971:2007, as well as HIPAA and GCP compliance.
