I offer the things that I look for when I see a doctor. I start appointments on time. I provide e-mail access, to answer those quick questions that are bound to come up at times.
Most important, I provide time-- enough time for patients to explain their symptoms or situation without feeling rushed, and enough time for me to thoroughly explain all of the options available for treatment. I see at most two patients per hour-- while many other psychiatrists see four or more.
Do you really think you can explain how you are feeling, and hear recommendations in return, in less than TEN MINUTES?!
I take my position and work very serioiusly; I avoid becoming over-committed to any one technique or medication, instead keeping an open mind toward the best options for each specific situation.
