Since 1997, the Ithaca Health Alliance (IHA) has been dedicated to seeking solutions to local healthcare issues through our three programs: Ithaca Free Clinic, Ithaca Health Fund and Community Health Education.
• Ithaca Free Clinic, opened in 2006, is widely known as the first free clinic in the US to offer both primary medical and holistic care through an integrated model. All medical, holistic, and specialty services are FREE and provided by volunteers. Donations welcome! Services are available to anyone who does not have health insurance for the services they need or cannot afford holistic care. There is no residency requirement.
• Ithaca Health Fund helps area residents (living in Tompkins County and surrounding counties) with low-to-moderate income pay for expenses not covered by health insurance.
• Community Health Education promotes greater health literacy, prevention and self-care through educational tents, events, newsletters, resources and working with community partners.
