Wilkin Flower Shop was started by Mrs. Wilkin, a member of the garden club of Wellsburg.
Elmer Vincent purchased the shop from Mrs. Wilkin.
Susan Freshour trained under Elmer and purchased the shop in September 1996
I started in retail at Denmark's in Steubenville in visual merchandising and advertising. Then became visual merchandise manager for The Joseph Horne Company of Pittsburgh at the Beaver Valley Mall Store. I studied Residential & Retail Planning at the Pittsburgh Art Institute. The shop has continued to expand and we have added many new items to our merchandise line over the years. We have two wonderful pets you must come in and meet; Mollie Dog and Annie Cat.
