The Frederick Rescue Mission is the largest provider of warm, nutritious meals to the homeless and low-income community in Frederick County, MD--serving breakfast and lunch 365 days a year to an average of 250 people every day. In addition, the Mission provides emergency food boxes, clothing, furniture, and other basic and emergency necessities to those in need, all free of charge.
The Frederick Rescue Mission is also home to Beacon House, a men's transitional shelter housing up to 42 men who are committed to overcoming life-damaging addictions. This year-long "Changed Life Recovery Program" provides the resources for these men to heal from their addictions through a relationship with Jesus Christ, and start their lives over new as upstanding men in their communities.
