Griley Airfreight

Griley Airfreight is an interstate and intrastate common carrier serving all of Southern California from our headquarters at LAX just one block from the airport.

We operate in excess of 100 units of equipment, from small package vans to 53 foot trailers, both vans and flats, many with rollerized floors for aircraft containers and "air ride". We have operated our specialized services concentrating on air freight since 1962 and have gained the respect of the airfreight industry for consistent first class service. Our main business is serving the needs of the air freight community at LAX, ONT and SFO airports. These services include pickup and delivery between shippers receivers and the airports, truckload between airports, and many dedicated fleet operations. We have excelled in designing specialized trucking needs for customers including , New York Times, Panasonic, UPS, Expeditors the US Postal service, DHL and many others. We have built our business by offering the best possible service to meet the needs of our customers. We recognize that service is the minimum our customers expect from us and we are committed to exceed their demands.

We currently run full truckloads between SFO and LAX, Griley is handling as many as 10 northbound and 10 southbound trucks a These routes have been in operation for years now with no service failures or delays, customers include the Airlines as well as numerous commercial customers. We currently run 5 tractor trailers for U S Postal Service in San Francisco. These drivers transfer all of the San Francisco and the regions mail to the airlines from the SFO sort station. Griley operates 12 drivers providing all of the container and airport transfer work for Expeditors at LAX. Currently this operation moves 50 LD7- M1 on a Saturday alone. We are a primary carrier for Nippon for airport transfers of all export airfreight. 16 drivers deliver all New York Times papers to their distribution depots throughout California. 16 53’ roller beds move all air mail for the Los Angeles, Ontario and Oakland and San Diego airports between FedX and the Postal Service sort sites daily. Griley runs 12 routes with in the LA basin, 7 units up the coastline, 20 special and shag drivers, 14 tractors and trailers providing truckload service.

Griley is a U. S. Customs bonded common carrier and cart man carrier. We can handle any type of customs move. We are hazardous materials certified and have satisfactory rating by the California Highway Patrol.
