The Country View Baptist Church was started in 1973 as a mission work and was organized in July of 1978 as an Independent Baptist Church. The church has had only two pastors in its thirty-six years of ministry. Bro. Bynum came to be the pastor of the church in 1981, and has continued his ministry for the last twenty-eight years. Today the church is located one-and-one-half miles north of Ulysses, Kansas. We are in the country and have a wonderful view of our town and surrounding area. It is our desire as a church to be a habitation of God through the Spirit.
