Jerry Harris is know most of all for his portraits of country music singers and is billed as the "Artist of Legends" because he has drawn or painted them all. Jerry really got interested in portraits of country music legends when he was commissioned to do the Louisiana Hayride artists for the museum at Shreveport's historic Municipal Auditorium consisting of 105 portraits. He also did the Medal of Honor winners for the "Hall of Heroes". Jerry has over 1000-pieces of his work on Facebook, and his work is in some seven museums. In addition to portraits of country music legends, movie stars and famous people, he likes to paint wildlife and things that just interest him. He is the author of a book titled "Tales of the Legends" with over 100 little known stories of the legends with a portrait of each star. He is currently painting all the portraits for the new Branson Hall of Fame.
