One hundred years ago this month, Neptune Beach opened to the public. Little remains today of the "Coney Island of the West." Join Alameda Sun publishers Eric J. Kos and Dennis Evanosky (President of the Alameda Museum) for a two-hour walk as they discuss history of the resort and reveal some of the surprising traces left behind today. Meet at Taylor Avenue and Webster Street at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 1.
