Our sand and gravel, was formed by natural means during the ice age. It has been a part of our community as far back as the building of the Erie Canal in 1820's. The land has been mined for over a century, and has provided the sand and gravel needs of Monroe and many other surrounding counties.
LL Huff Co. Inc. acquired this sand pit to begin operations in the 1960's. In the late 90's LL HUFF CO purchased "Monarch Sand & Gravel", along with its adjacent properties. This allowed us to expand our business and invest in opportunities such as a wash plant, more land and materials, and C&D recycling areas.
Our C&D Recycling permits allows us to bring in and recycle brush, leaves, trees, and stumps as well as concrete, dirt, brick, and block.
Along side of picking up materials LL HUFF CO provides drop off & deilvery services if needed.
