The law provides for the licensure of persons engaged in residential construction in the State of Alabama.
The Board consists of nine members that are appointed by the Governor, Lieutenant Governor and Speaker of the House of Representatives for three-year staggered terms.
Of the nine members, seven shall be experienced home builders, one a building official and one a consumer.
