Satterwhite Log Homes is a family owned business based in Longview, Texas. Sam and Travonda Satterwhite are actively engaged in daily operations, and a second generation of the family is working hard toward's the future. Even the little Satterwhite grandchildren have spent their summers in high altitude logging camps in the Rocky Mountains, and have seen more bears and wildlife than most adults will ever experience.

Satterwhite Log Homes is noted for using dead standing timber, trees killed by natural causes. Not only a good thing for the environment, but also proven to deliver superb performance, with major advantages both short and long term. Satterwhite is among only a few log home companies that is vertically integrated, from the forest to your job site.

Satterwhite sells nationwide, with headquarters and warehouses in Texas, plus major facilities in Utah (western division), and Georgia (eastern division). In addition, feeder sawmills are operated near timber sources. In the past, this has included Dotsero, Colorado (near Vail), and Pecos, New Mexico (near Santa Fe). Coming soon, Satterwhite will open operations in Chama, New Mexico, to process high altitude timber from nearby southern Colorado.
