Hellbender Brewing Company was founded by Head Brewer, Ben Evans, a research scientist with an extensive background in microbiology and neuroscience. Before founding Hellbender, Ben apprenticed at several microbreweries and was an avid homebrewer for more than 12 years.
Co-founder Patrick Mullane, a former Congressional staffer, focuses on business and marketing activities. He was also an avid homebrewer.
