But the other roofers never told me that, said the homeowner... facebook.com/AirVentInc/pos…

Shout out to Andy Gressett @ Cheyenne Mountain Roofing. After attending Air Vent's "best practices in residential attic ventilation seminar" earlier this year in Colorado Springs he quickly implemented some of the tips. Here he successfully explained to a homeowner that mixing 2 different types of exhaust vents (box vents + ridge vents) on the same roof above a common attic is a mistake (it could short-circuit the system). The other roofing contractors did not explain it to the homeowner. Andy got the job. Congratulations, Andy. Thanks for sharing your field experiences. Everyone, have a great weekend ahead.

Homeowner to Roofer: "Where are you getting these attic ventilation numbers from?" facebook.com/AirVentInc/pos…

Yes, there are apps and calculators that do the math already. But wouldn't it be cool to impress the homeowner who wants to know where the numbers came from for a balanced attic ventilation system? We explain it right here. http://airvent.com/index.php/ventilation-resources/literature-sales-tools/articles/129-the-attic-needs-ventilation-but-how-much-exactly/file
