Founded by Gilbert M. Hitchcock in 1885, the Omaha World-Herald provides news, commentary, information and advertising that encourages readers to become involved in the world around them. The World-Herald is a statewide Nebraska newspaper, and delivers to more readers in southwest Iowa than any other Iowa newspaper.
The Omaha World-Herald delivers its editions 365 days a year to subscribers and single-copy buyers all across Nebraska, in western Iowa and in parts of Kansas, Missouri and South Dakota. The World-Herald is the only statewide newspaper in Nebraska, serving more than 500 cities and towns with home and business delivery.
