Jerusalem has been privileged to serve Morton Grove and Chicagoland area Christians with the gospel of Jesus Christ since 1902. Our congregation is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, a Lutheran church body headquartered in Milwaukee consisting of over 1,200 member congregations nationwide.
Our congregation is committed to proclaiming the entire truth of God's Word as we find it without error in the Holy Scriptures. We invite everyone to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18) through a faithful use of Word and Sacrament in worship, Bible study and personal, devotional use of the Bible.
We would consider it an honor to have visitors join our family of faith. Communicant membership in our congregation is established by transfer from another Lutheran congregation within our fellowship or upon completion of an eight-lesson Bible Information Course taught by our pastor.
