EPM Corporation, now in our 45th year, was founded in 1970 by Edward P. Miller, beginning when Ed saw an advertisement for mechanical engravers in a local paper. He purchased two and set up shop in his basement. From there EPM began to grow and expand, adding new and different products with every year. Throughout the first 25 years EPM acquired and integrated three different business. We’ve grown from simple engraved plates to printed apparel, labels, decals, membrane switches, control panels, serial/data plates, and most recently embroidered apparel and products.
In 1990 Ed retired, with his son and daughter-in-law, Marc and Debby, purchasing the company. In 2004 Debby took over as President of EPM as Marc turned his focus to developing new methods to integrate with our tried and trusted production process. A few years after Debby became President and her daughters became active in the business, EPM became certified by WBENC.
EPM is a family business that has always remained true to the first basic principal which Ed insisted on: do what is right. This extended to every aspect from what we produce for our customers to how we can help in our community. We have a long history of local involvement, we often work with trade schools and co-op programs to provide real job experience to students looking to begin their careers. In addition we support scholarships with local grade schools and donate product to charities.
