Heneghan and Associates, was founded in 1986 by Dean P. Heneghan as a six person civil engineering firm in Jerseyville, Illinois. Today the company has four offices located in Jerseyville, Centralia, Godfrey, and Columbia with approximately 35 employees. The staff consists of 16 engineers and 6 licensed land surveyors complemented by technicians and administrative personnel.
Heneghan and Associates has assisted 80+ communities, 30 water districts and companies, 8 townships and 6 state agencies. We have also worked with numerous commercial and residential developers. Heneghan built its reputation on serving rural water areas. In fact, Heneghan has engineered almost 4,800 miles of water lines. It is gratifying to be part of the team that helped extend water to residents in rural communities. In addition to providing residents with an adequate supply of water, we are also working to improve the streets and highways you drive on, the sidewalks you walk on and other transportation related structures.
