WATER WINGS IS A YEAR ROUND SWIM SCHOOL WITH INDOOR HEATED POOLS, THAT CATERS TO THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN AND ADULTS OF ALL AGES AND ABILITIES. WE PRIDE OUR-SELF IN TEACHING NOT ONLY WATER SAFETY BUT COMPETITIVE SWIMMING SKILLS AS WELL. OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY SWIMMING INSTRUCTION, USING DEVELOPMENTALLY SOUND TEACHING METHODS, WITH PATIENCE, CARE, AND A GENTLE APPROACH. Water Wings Swim School is owned and operated by husband and wife Avi and Tracy Shafshak. With over 20 years of experience, Avi and Tracy Shafshak have been teaching, coaching and revolutionizing swimming lessons in the Las Vegas Area. Our 1st swim school opened in April 2003, located at the Merryhill private school in Las Vegas, Nevada and we have been continuing to grow ever since. We currently have five locations, serving the greater Las Vegas, Nevada Area, the San Fernando Valley, California Area and our 6th location scheduled to open in the summer 2015 in Agoura Hills, CA. While Avi has a background in Business, teaching swimming and swim school management, wife, Tracy has her background in competitive swimming, coaching and child psychology, together with the shared love of teaching and the water they make a great team for success.
