We are a company whose roots go back to a larger HVAC company from out of town that opened a branch office here in Beatrice on North 3rd street. When that office closed several years later, the office manager, Larry Mihulka, bought the assets and started Custom Climate Control in 1970. In 1977 Ken Sillman, then a student in the HVAC program in Milford, started with the company, then bought the company in January of 1996. He now has over 33 years experience with multiple industry certifications. Travis Rice started with the company in 2008, is a graduate of the HVAC program at Hastings community college, and has over 6 years of experience. Jacob Stahl is our most recent hire. He is a graduate of the HVAC program at Milford and has over 8 years of experience. Peggy Carrel is the office enforcer. She started with us in 2004, answers your phone calls, handles most of the accounting, and keeps the rest of us in line. The company moved to its current location at 401 Market Street in 1997.
