Lombard Mennonite Church is an anabaptist church in the believers church tradition. As an historic peace church, we believe the authority of scripture is best understood as it is interpreted in community from the perspective of the life, death, resurrection and teachings of Jesus Christ. Faithful living is embodied in daily striving to follow the example that God has set before us in Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit. None of us do it perfectly, and as a congregation we recognize our imperfections, but each day provides us a new opportunity to live into the joy and the journey to which we are called. Wholistic ministry is encouraged in partnership with God's reconciling and redemptive work in the world.
