Welcome to New York’s Center for Spine Excellence. We are specialists in the interventional treatment of common and complex problems related to the spine. A team of specialists that provide expertise in procedures and interventions to alleviate symptoms from spine related conditions such as neck and back pain, herniated disks, spinal stenosis, fractures, spinal instability, slipped disks, pinched nerves, sciatica.

The team are experts related to neck and back injuries that cause severe pain and symptoms such as numbness tingling and weakness of the arms and legs. Medical diagnosis’s such as radiculopathy, myelopathy, spondylolisthesis, degenerative disk disease, scoliosis are all conditions that the team treats regularly. The physician and surgical team of New York Spine Specialist is comprised of a team of physicians, physician assistants and surgeons working collaboratively to develop treatment plans tailored to each individual patient’s needs. Our goal is to improve the patient’s quality of life, decrease pain, enhance function for your daily life activities.

We have an ongoing treatment program to improve patient outcomes by increasing the understanding of the basic causes of spinal conditions, disorders and developing a customized treatment for each patient.

Andrew Cordiale,

As a Native New Yorker, I care deeply about my patients and my community.
My goal is to improve my patients’ quality of life. Even as a surgeon, I firmly believe the first step is to utilize no operative treatments to the fullest extent possible. Although surgery is a powerful and an excellent treatment modality, in many cases surgery should be the last option.

Sebastian Lattuga,

Dr. Sebastian Lattuga is a fellowship trained and board certified Spine Surgeon whose practice is exclusively dedicated to the care and treatment of patients with spinal disorders.

Dr. Lattuga is considered an expert in the surgical non-surgical management of traumatic and degenerative conditions affecting the spine including herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, fractures and many other conditions.

Silvia Geraci,

Dr. Geraci graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006. During her medical school career, she was an osteopathic manipulative medicine teaching assistant and a student representative for the Nassau County Medical Society. She went on to pursue a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Northwell Health (formerly North Shore – LIJ Health System). Based on her academic and leadership achievements, she was elected academic chief resident in her final year of residency.

Billy Ford,

Dr. Ford completed his undergraduate degree at Princeton University in 1983. He received the MD degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York in 1987.

Following his internship at the Montefiore Medical Center, he received training in Ambulatory Anesthesia at the Massachusetts General Hospital, before completing his residency at the Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Subsequently, he completed fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesia, and then in Pain Management. Dr. Ford is Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
