Donated household furnishings, durable medical supplies, food and money allow our programs to provide basic needs for local working families, single-parent families, retired and disabled people, people on fixed incomes, and others in need.

South Lincoln Resources is an all volunteer, hands-on, non profit community organization created to coordinate and provide programs for charitable services and to work with other groups to benefit the south Lincoln County community. SLR runs four programs and works directly with three partner services. Community support and funding sustains all SLR activities.

86,385 pounds of food in 2009 average per month of 357 people in 154 households
118,817 pounds of food in 2010 average per month of 446 people in 190 households
144,580 pounds of food in 2011 average per month of 533 people in 218 households
199,182 pounds of food in 2012 average per month of 601 people in 242 households

Adventist Clothing Share gave away
35,000 items in 2010 with 8 Give Away Events (about every 6 weeks)
Nearly 40,000 items in 2011 with 10 Give Away Events (about every 5 weeks)
More than 40,000 items with monthly Give Away Events in 2012
On track to give 50,000 items in 2013

In 2011: 1900 items of Furniture & Appliances plus 298 pieces of Medical Equipment
In 2012: 1969 items of Furniture & Appliances plus 177 pieces of Medical Equipment

Holiday Food Baskets for local children, families, seniors
2010: Thanksgiving – 285 Baskets / 748 people Christmas – 366 Baskets / 973 people
2011: Thanksgiving – 311 Baskets / 800 people Christmas – 404 Baskets / 1050 people
2012: Thanksgiving – 360 Baskets / 875 people Christmas – 388 Baskets / 1100 people

South County Needy Children’s Christmas Program provided gifts to 300 children in 2012

Emergency Voucher Program provides thousands of dollars in aid to local residents annually.
This program helps people stay in their homes with basic services in critical situations.
Administered by churches, managed by SLR. Guidelines and usage are closely monitored.
100% of funds donated to this program go directly to assist our neighbors.
