St. Philip's is a parish in the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas. The first Episcopal service was celebrated in Uvalde on July 10, 1880. St. Philip's Episcopal Church was founded in February 1881. We have approximately 250 members and an average Sunday attendance of 110.
Holy Eucharist is our principal act of Christian worship on Sundays (8:00 and 10:30 ) and Major Feasts. Morning Prayer (Monday - Thursday at 7:30 in the chapel) offers an opportunity for daily worship. A schedule of upcoming events is available on our homepage.
Church Office Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 - 12:00 ; 1:00 - 4:00 Friday, 8:30 - 12:00 (Closed on Fridays in the summer)
