Woodside Parents Nursery School

We are a community of families in the Woodside, California area dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate school environment where children and families learn and grow together. Our preschool encompasses learning on social, emotional, intellectual, and physical levels. We value play, experimentation, energy and compassion and we believe that a parent's active involvement in a child's education enriches the child, family and the community.

Woodside Parents' Nursery School (WPNS) is a non-profit parent cooperative overseen by a board of Parent Volunteers. A cooperative preschool such as WPNS is a private entity operated by its members—the parents of the students—and staffed by professional teachers. Co-operative schools recognize that parents are the primary educators of their children.

WPNS Parents are actively involved in virtually every aspect of the school, sharing their talents and interests in the classroom, on the board of directors, and in various committees. The WPNS program strives to foster a special community that gives parents and children the opportunity to learn, communicate, play, and grow together.
