The Welder Supply Company was started by a well-known Beloit welder, George Uhlir, who began supplying local metalworking customers with products and aiding them with his welding advice and expertise. In addition to the traditional metalworking customers, Welders Supply Company now serves a diverse array of industries including chemical, medical, construction, food processing and vocational schools.
