Sue Dunkley, the owner of Kinderberry Hill, started her first child care program in 1971, the year her children were born. Her goal was to provide an early childhood experience that would expand each child’s horizon through stimulating learning activities and positive interactions. In the following years, Ms. Dunkley was instrumental in developing statewide guidelines for the care of both infants and toddlers in Minnesota.
