Child Lures Prevention/Teen Lures Prevention is based in Shelburne, Vermont - and reach worldwide. Our mission began in 1985, and continues today: we are here to help educators and parents prevent crimes against children and youth through education and awareness. Together, we can make this a safer and gentler world for all children. Child safety experts Rosemary Webb and Jennifer Mitchell have worked at Child Lures Prevention for over thirty years each and currently serve as Co-Presidents. Teen Lures Prevention was launched in 2008 in an effort to make personal safety education more relevant and appealing to teens by involving them in the learning process via peer teaching. Founder Kenneth Wooden is now President Emeritus and still very active in his lifelong efforts to protect children and youth around the world.
