The Pasadena Police Officers' Association is the recognized bargaining unit for all Police Officers and Corporals hired by the City of Pasadena. We incorporated in 1979 and are classified under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(5), as a non-profit, labor organization.
The goal of the PPOA is to partner with the community and provide quality police services through community interaction, emphasizing the highest degree of cooperation, professionalism and ethical behavior. This creates an atmosphere of trust, safety and security.
We believe in community policing. The PPOA is active in our community and our members have volunteered many hours to various organizations throughout the city.
