Who do you know whose life isn’t, in some way, touched by drug and alcohol addiction? Sadly, many of us understand all too well the impact addiction has on individuals, relationships, families, and society as a whole. The nonprofit organization, Healing House, Inc., was established in 2003 to help restore the lives of individuals battling addiction through the provision of safe, stable, recovery-supportive housing. We’re pleased to say that, last year, nearly 75% of the 263 men and women who made Healing House their home successfully broke the chains of addiction and transitioned into meaningful roles in society.
