Family Ownership The family owned business was started back in 1959 by Melvin Vink and Charles Perry and opened as “Perry Vink Office Machines”. Melvin bought Perry out in 1964 and the business was incorporated as Great Bend Office Products. After a few moves around Main Street in Great Bend, they settled at 1204 Main under the name of Office Products, Incorporated. OPI tradition top quality products and service has been carried on by Melvin’s sons, Terry, Kenny and Craig Vink.
The Vink’s opened a store in Larned in 1990 to service this area better with customers being able to pick up office supplies and printing locally. Then in 2010 they added a store in Russell. Their continued growth is due to the loyal local shoppers in all three communities.
Then in 2014 the Vink’s added Golden Belt Printing II LLC to the family owned businesses. Golden Belt Printing had been a long standing business in Great Bend and the purchase of this business expanded their offering for digital printing and many other capabilities.
OPI’s community support has come in many forms at all 3 locations; it has sponsored Relay for Life, March of Dimes, bowling and baseball leagues, virtually all local foundations for non-profit entities and several charity golf tournaments.
